SDL Property Partners is a franchise network for property management, developed as a new approach to managing leasehold blocks and freehold estates.

In a nutshell, we take care of back office systems, training, compliance and ongoing support, and our franchisees focus on managing properties, budgets and relationships with clients and residents.

Whether you are a property manager who wants to be your own boss, or a letting agent or surveyor who wants to create additional revenue, we’ll give you the tools to hit the ground running with your own property management business.

We started SDL Property Partners because we want to revolutionise the industry

We are passionate about transforming property management, we believe that a greater emphasis on compliance and customer service will drive up standards and give leaseholders a better experience. We believe that the future of property management combines the technical expertise and brand presence of a larger company with the local knowledge and personal service of a smaller firm.

Our franchisees are passionate about property and committed to providing a great service. They can choose which clients they work with, manage properties their way and get directly rewarded for their hard work.

How does it work?

It’s no surprise that the set-up costs, infrastructure and compliance requirements of starting your own property management business can be overwhelming.

In our franchise model, we set up your company, branding and marketing materials. We then give you full training, an exclusive territory and help you to win new business. Once you’re up and running, you get ongoing support with back office systems, annual accounts, credit control and financial reporting. We provide regular training workshops throughout the year, and we ensure compliance by auditing your portfolio, plus we’re on hand for technical support if you need us.

We’re hugely proud of our extensive training programme, we are always gathering feedback from franchisees to ensure we cover everything they need to know. We have external speakers from across the industry, including the CEOs of the IRPM and ARMA. If you’re new to the industry and you want to learn more about managing blocks and estates, here’s a handy guide.
